Senior Infrastructure Engineer

You must be a highly skilled MS infrastructure specialist with a genuine interest in technical development.

As they expand their operations, they are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of infrastructure solutions.
• Manage, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals.
• Drive automation, CI/CD practices.
• Oversee system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay current with infrastructure trends and recommend improvements.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and resilience.
• Work with development teams to integrate infrastructure with applications.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Azure, VMware, networking, security, and related technologies.
• Experience managing large-scale deployments and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking, security protocols, disaster recovery.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Possession of VCP, MCSE, and skills in design, implementation, and maintenance.

You must be eligible to work in the UK, possess excellent stakeholder communication skills, and have a logical, methodical approach to technology.

This role is hybrid, based near Milton Keynes. Candidates should be within commuting distance.
