Job summary

Roku is seeking a world-class engineer to lead engineering infrastructure, enterprise tooling, and AI-assisted workflow automation across globally distributed teams. You will own strategy, architecture, and long-term execution to improve productivity, delivery, quality, security, and cost efficiency.

This hybrid, leadership-focused role reports to a VP of Engineering and requires deep experience with embedded Linux, CI/CD, and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of embedded Linux, multi-process architectures and IPC.
• Experience delivering automation at scale across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead an AI-first automation roadmap for engineering infrastructure and tooling.
• Architect and ship AI/LLM-enabled workflow automation across the SDLC.
• Set standards for CI/CD pipelines and build systems to support multi-site engineering.
• Own and scale test/quality workflows with cross-team collaboration.
• Drive security, cost, performance, and reliability across distributed systems.
