Job summary

Arrows is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a business-critical technology team supporting infrastructure across Europe and Asia. The role focuses on VMware, Windows Server, enterprise storage, DR and AWS, with a major programme migrating infrastructure to AWS and driving automation and resilience.

You will design, build, and support enterprise infrastructure across on-prem and AWS, lead modernization and cloud migration, and own DR/HA capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in VMware vSphere/ESXi and Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3) and hybridCloud setups.
• Strong automation skills using PowerShell or Python and IaC tooling.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, HA, and enterprise backup technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support enterprise infrastructure on-prem and in AWS.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud migration projects.
• Own HA, DR and business continuity capabilities.
• Administer VMware, storage and Windows Server environments.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python and IaC.
• Mentor other Infrastructure Engineers and collaborate across regions.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex issues.
• Participate in on-call rota for production systems.
