Head of Technology Platforms - Salesforce/ nCino

Location: London, United Kingdom

Competitive market rate yearly salary & bonus on offer

Our client is a multi-sector alternative lender that helps mid-sized SMEs grow by providing consistent, timely, flexible funding solutions. They leverage pioneering in-house data, personal relationships, and a pragmatic and flexible lending process.

As the Head of Technology Platforms, you will lead the technology platform teams to ensure stability and take ownership of the core technology platforms' operation, change, and strategic development. You will collaborate across the organization to maximize value from technology, processes, and people, with end-to-end accountability for the platforms and managing demand.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs from each platform and prioritizing accordingly.
• Analyzing and shaping requirements to guide strategic direction based on platform capabilities.
• Maintaining a technical backlog for all platforms.
• Having a strong understanding of nCino, Salesforce, and Mambu development and architecture best practices.
• Overseeing daily platform operations, including user management, configuration, availability, and performance.
• Demonstrating platform capabilities and developed functionalities to stakeholders.
• Managing change within a structured framework to ensure clarity, governance, and execution.

Skills required:

• Expertise in configuration, development, and management of Salesforce, nCino, and Mambu platforms.
• Experience in project delivery within Financial Services.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate with and instruct third-party partners.
• Line management experience, including hiring and performance reviews.
• Strategic thinking with a vision for future platform development and roadmaps.

Beneficial but not essential experience:

• Knowledge of UK financial service technologies.
• Experience with business improvement, analytical, and continuous improvement techniques (e.g., EFQM, Six Sigma, Lean Sigma).
• Background in full-stack development, software integration, and database management.
