Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Information Manager to be engaged on a permanent basis in Derby. The role involves leading or coordinating medium to large-scale projects, combining elements of Digital / BIM Lead, BIM Manager, CAD Manager, Document Control Lead, and Systems Administrator.

Your Purpose:

Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and direction to engineering delivery projects as the Information Manager, following ISO19650 processes and internal standards for projects or programmes of small to medium scale (<£1m).
2. Document strategies for BIM and information management tailored to project requirements, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
3. Ensure project teams are trained in information management standards, methods, and procedures.
4. Draft and maintain project reports on BIM and Information Management implementation.
5. Develop and maintain business processes related to information management, including BS EN ISO 19650 standards.
6. Deliver positive project outcomes, ensuring benefits are realized and success is measured through IM application and digital services.
7. Contribute to proposals by providing guidance on IM strategy and approach.
8. Consistently deliver high-quality work, managing progress and expectations, and building trust with teams.
9. Network internally and externally to promote BIM and IM best practices, creating educational and awareness materials.
10. Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and technological solutions; capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
11. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering skills and knowledge in IM.
