Job summary

Safran is hiring a Senior Industrialisation Engineer to drive industrialisation for new and modified products, ensuring readiness, quality, rate, and cost targets. You will own defined work packages and champion efficient process development across the product lifecycle.

You will lead a small team, balance workloads, coach members, and ensure adherence to standards and schedules while collaborating with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, HSE, and Ops.

Qualifications

• HNC / HND in mechanical, electronics or Production Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in manufacturing/industrialisation and APQP/PPAP/SPC.
• Ability to lead a small team and coordinate cross-functional activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate processes, PFMEA/Control Plans, work instructions, routings, tooling specs, line balancing, and trials.
• Be the first point of contact for production line technical issues and approve team outputs as required.
• Lead and mentor a small team, balance workload, and ensure schedules and standards are met.
• Apply company standards (OneSafran, APQP/PPAP, MSA, SPC, ERP/MES, HSE) throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement with Lean tools (SMED, 5S, Poka-Yoke).
• Own PFMEA actions, run-at-rate, pre-production builds, capacity verification, RCCA for launches.
