Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Process Engineer who will act as an Industrial Applications Engineer, focusing on cooling towers and chillers for industrial processes. The role is office-based with international remit and 20% UK travel.

The candidate should have a strong technical background, read P&IDs and process schematics, and be able to build energy savings calculations and ROI models for industrial customers. Travel and site assessments are involved, with a Manchester-based office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in cooling towers, chillers, industrial pumps & process environments.

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end technical offers for industrial customers.
• Select and specify solution architecture across Heating, Cooling, Water Transfer, and High-Pressure applications.
• Own and ensure offers are technically accurate and application-appropriate.
• Build energy savings calculations and ROI models.
