Job summary

Atlas Copco in the United Kingdom seeks a Process Cooling Engineer to support customers with field-based service across the South. You will maintain, diagnose, install and commission process cooling equipment, travelling to site as needed and delivering an outstanding service experience.

You will work with chillers, pumps and heat exchangers, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and providing clear technical advice.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanical or electrical service role.
• Background in refrigeration and thermal systems.
• Full driving licence (UK or international).
• Willingness to obtain F‑Gas certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on process cooling equipment
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, particularly relating to chiller performance
• Installing, commissioning, and starting up new equipment
• Completing accurate service reports and maintaining detailed documentation
• Supporting customers with clear communication and technical advice
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and F-Gas regulations
• Promoting safe working practices and using appropriate PPE
• Keeping up to date with refrigeration systems, controls, and automation
• Collaborating with colleagues and sharing knowledge across the team
• Supporting occasional overtime or emergency call-outs when required
