Qualifications

• Commitment to Catholic education and the faith life of the school.
• Experience in leadership for learning diversity or inclusive education.
• Knowledge of differentiation, explicit instruction and evidence-based interventions.
• Understanding of NCCD requirements, reasonable adjustments and personalised learning.
• Strong organisational skills coordinating Learning Support Officers, managing timetables and PSG meetings.
• Ability to analyse data to improve student outcomes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, families and external professionals.
• Commitment to child safety, student wellbeing and ongoing professional learning.
• Current VIT registration.

Responsibilities

• Support the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
• Lead inclusive practices and differentiated teaching across the school.
• Support staff to implement explicit instruction, reasonable adjustments and evidence-based interventions.
• Coordinate Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs), NCCD processes and student support documentation.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Officers, manage their timetables and coordinate support to meet student needs.
• Organise and facilitate Program Support Group (PSG) meetings each term, working in partnership with families, teachers and external professionals.
• Analyse assessment data to identify learning needs and monitor student progress.
• Build staff capacity through collaboration, coaching and professional learning.
• Promote student wellbeing, engagement, inclusion and child safety.
