Job summary

Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy in Wolverhampton is seeking an exceptional Assistant Principal - Inclusion to lead the whole-school inclusion agenda, ensuring every pupil belongs and succeeds through high academic ambition and strong relational practice.

You will drive SEND strategies, attendance and wellbeing, work with curriculum leaders to embed adaptive teaching, and build partnerships with families and external agencies within the Catholic ethos of the Trust.

We are seeking an exceptional, compassionate, and strategic Assistant Principal - Inclusion to join our Senior Leadership Team. You will lead our whole-school inclusion agenda, combining high academic ambition with strong relational practice to ensure barriers are removed, need is identified early, and every pupil belongs and succeeds.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive the whole-school inclusion, SEND, attendance, and wellbeing strategies.
• Academic Ambition: Partner with curriculum leaders to embed high-quality adaptive teaching across every classroom.
• Early Identification & Targeted Support: Oversee data-driven interventions, internal inclusion provision, and alternative provision to minimise disengagement and suspensions.
• Culture & Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with families, multi-agency teams, and staff through high-impact professional development.
