About the Senior Implementation Manager role

The Senior Implementation Manager will be responsible for delivering customer focused solutions from requirements definition, building and integration, testing, go live and hand over to support functions. You will own the delivery of a portfolio of new and existing client projects and programmes through all of stages mentioned above.

The Senior Implementation Manager will be accountable for understanding the customer journey and needs, supporting the client as the opportunity progresses towards implementation and outstanding delivery, whilst maintaining the highest standards and ensuring customer experience and satisfaction remain at the heart of the delivery experience.

What you will be doing as a Senior Implementation Manager

  • Leading the design of creative, client-centric solutions through deep customer engagement and understanding of each unique set of client needs. Ensuring a smooth delivery of solutions from opportunity engagement, through the Implementation process and proactive support to clients through problem resolution and decision making
  • Building and maintaining a strong knowledge of the Thredd product suite
  • Helping define strategy and deliver targets for the Implementations Professional Services team
  • Supporting in planning and setting goals and objectives for the team, as a group
  • Providing support to the Head of Implementations Professional Services across various initiatives and tasks
  • Supporting, coaching and developing existing team members
  • Training new team members
  • Working cross functionally, both internally and externally, to ensure customer implementations are delivered in a smooth and timely manner
  • Assisting in delivery of reporting on customer data
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement throughout the delivery life cycle
  • Supporting implementation managers and executives in delivering value to customers, on time, with a focus on minimum viable products, on which customers can iterate and build out
  • Delivering timely and successful go live of Thredd client programmes, projects, migrations, and Internal initiatives
  • Leading customer conversations to determine requirements, their journey and approach, along with value adding factors, at all stages of their journey with Thredd
  • Demonstrating behaviours consistent with Thredd values
  • Providing an industry leading experience throughout the journey to becoming a project and implementation process
  • Providing advice and support to customers to maximise benefit realisation
  • Continually evolve personal skills and knowledge to support the highest standard of client delivery
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Maintaining a flexible approach to the demands of the business, supporting the short, medium and long-term goals and strategy of the Implementations Organisation, Global Implementations and Operations Team and Thredd
  • Taking charge of career progress through Personal Development Planning and skill growth
  • Self-driven to keep abreast of Thredd and industry developments whilst remaining nimble to evolve
  • Ensuring robust and user-friendly documentation is available
  • Managing projects to minimise/mitigate risks and issues, an early warning system for potential delays or non-delivery
  • Minimising escalations by taking a proactive approach to issue management whilst addressing areas of concern
  • Reporting on team projects to stakeholders
  • Communicating delivery concerns to drive issues to resolution. Anticipate and remove blockers
  • Monitoring and driving high performance
  • Conducting timely performance evaluations of projects and opportunities in your portfolio
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams and key external partners

What you will bring as a Senior Implementation Manager

  • Experience implementing credit programmes would be highly desirable
  • Understanding of various API protocols
  • Payment industry experience, with a detailed understanding of the authorisation clearing, and chargeback processes, as well as key interfaces and message types
  • Experience working with a scheme or a processor
  • Strong knowledge of Mastercard and Visa scheme rules and processes
  • Experience implementing and managing pre-paid and/or credit programmes
  • Knowledge of various project/programme management methodologies
  • Strong focus on delivering customer outcomes and delivering a good customer experience
  • The ability to interact professionally at all seniority levels across internal and external partners
