Job summary

Avanti Recruitment Limited is partnering with a financial technology firm to hire a Senior Implementation Consultant to own complex software implementations for clients. The role blends technical problem solving, client engagement and project ownership, with a focus on delivering successful go-lives.

You will manage end-to-end implementations, map client requirements to technical specs, and work closely with engineering and product teams to resolve issues during delivery.

Avanti Recruitment is working with an established financial technology business that develops specialist software used by financial advisers, wealth managers and financial institutions.
The company is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant to take ownership of complex software implementations for its clients. This is a senior, hands-on delivery role combining technical problem-solving, client engagement and project ownership.
You'll work closely with clients to understand their requirements, configure and integrate software into their existing environments, and ensure implementations are delivered successfully.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing implementations from initial discovery through to go-live, acting as a key point of contact for clients and working closely with internal technical and product teams.

• Leading client onboarding and software implementation projects from requirements gathering through to delivery.
• Understanding clients' existing systems, processes and technical environments.
• Working on API integrations, data mapping and the movement of information between systems.
• Investigating technical issues and coordinating solutions with engineering teams.
• Managing implementation plans, priorities, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Translating business requirements into clear technical and functional requirements.
• Supporting testing, troubleshooting and successful go-live.
• Building strong relationships with clients throughout the implementation process.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with experienced Implementation Consultants, Technical Implementation Consultants, Solutions Consultants and Professional Services Consultants who have delivered complex B2B software implementations.

• Strong experience delivering client-facing software implementations.
• A good technical understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows and troubleshooting.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into practical implementation plans.
• The confidence to work directly with technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
• The ability to take ownership of delivery and solve problems independently.
• Experience working closely with software engineers, product teams and other technical specialists.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in fintech, wealthtech, financial services software, CRM platforms or data-driven SaaS products would be particularly relevant, although candidates from other B2B software environments will also be considered.
You don't need to be a software developer, but you should be comfortable discussing technical integrations and investigating implementation issues in detail.
