Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power is seeking a Senior Supportability Engineer for our Pitstone site in Buckinghamshire. Hybrid work model with emphasis on in-service support, ILS analyses, and whole-life cost optimisation across global customers.

You will lead small project teams, influence commercial offerings, and ensure complete aftermarket support with robust service readiness plans and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• A degree or significant experience in aerospace, engineering or automotive.
• Knowledge and use of ILS, RAMS, reliability and maintainability principles.
• Ability to balance technical and commercial perspectives to optimise support solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete support and service solutions for customers in aftermarket.
• Collaborate with program teams for entry into service and ongoing support of new products.
• Produce and update service support readiness plans and ILS analyses including TAT.
• Support profitability from parts and services and plan ILS work packages.
• Lead small project teams and liaise with stakeholders to determine best support solutions.
