Job summary

Safran is seeking a Senior ILS Engineer for our Pitstone site in Buckinghamshire to deliver end-to-end Integrated Logistics Support and optimise whole-life costs for aftermarket service solutions. You will model ILS work packages, lead small project teams, and liaise with stakeholders to determine the best support options for customers and platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree or significant experience in aerospace, engineering or automotive.
• Knowledge of ILS, reliability and maintainability.
• Comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Appreciation of the constraints of working within a regulated industry.
• Ability to derive the best support solutions in a complete systems environment.
• Ability to persuade stakeholders to change approach using data and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Offer complete support and service solutions to our customers in the aftermarket.

The Role As a Senior ILS Engineer at Safran Electrical & Power you will offer excellent support and service solutions to our customers in the aftermarket, optimising elements of the product design to enable the provision of complete support to our global customer base. You will support on various projects, producing and updating service support readiness plans. You will play a key role in influencing the commercial offering, optimising whole life costs. You will model and plan ILS work packages of varying sizes, leading small project teams of varying disciplines.

• Knowledge and use of ILS, reliability and maintainability
• Comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels

• Ability to derive the best support solutions in a complete systems environment, thinking equally in both technical and commercial spaces
• Ability to persuade stakeholders to change approach when required, using data and analysis evidence bases
• Comfortable working with demanding customers to jointly define the best ways to support the business
• Evidence of written English at interview stage
