Job summary

Preply is seeking a Senior II Full Stack Engineer to join our cross-functional team. You will blend hands-on backend work with frontend contributions, shaping product direction and engineering excellence to deliver meaningful outcomes for learners and tutors.

You’ll design scalable backend services in Python/Django, build frontend experiences in React/TypeScript, and lead initiatives from discovery through deployment while maintaining a high standard of quality and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-functional team with Product, UX, Data, and Engineering to deliver meaningful outcomes for learners and tutors.
• Design, build, and evolve scalable backend systems using Python/Django and APIs.
• Develop frontend experiences in React/TypeScript and contribute to frontend best practices.
• Lead complex initiatives from discovery to deployment and own solutions end-to-end.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, architecture, and best practices.
• Partner with Product/Data/UX to validate hypotheses and maximize customer value.
