Job summary

Admiral Money is seeking a Senior Capital & Impairment Manager to lead impairment, forecasting, stress testing and capital analytics for unsecured personal loans, motor finance and mortgages. The role is hybrid with Cardiff office attendance two days a week and a leadership focus on analytics and governance.

You will lead a team, work with senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Credit Risk and the wider business to provide insights into risk exposures and trends, and contribute to capital

Qualifications

• Experience leading impairment, forecasting, stress testing within a regulated lending environment.
• Deep IFRS 9 impairment modelling expertise.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance experience.
• Experience with multiple lending products such as unsecured personal loans, motor finance and mortgages.

Responsibilities

• Lead impairment framework development and governance.
• Own forecasting and insight generation for senior stakeholders.
• Lead stress testing and scenario analysis activities.
• Interpret portfolio performance, expected credit losses, capital outcomes and financial resilience.
• Oversee funding and liquidity risk exposures and warehouse structures.
• Advise governance forums with clear recommendations and actions.
• Develop and coach a team of analysts and modelling specialists.
• Drive modelling, forecasting, reporting automation improvements.
