Admiral Money is hiring a Senior Capital & Impairment Manager to lead impairment, forecasting and capital analytics. You will drive IFRS 9 model development, oversee governance and provide strategic insight to Finance, Treasury and Credit Risk.

The role blends technical leadership with broad regulatory and risk governance responsibilities. You will manage a team of analysts, deliver robust reporting, and work with senior stakeholders to influence risk management, capital planning and resilience

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience leading impairment, forecasting, stress testing or capital analytics in a regulated lending environment.
• Deep technical expertise in IFRS 9 impairment modelling and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) methodologies.
• Strong understanding of stress testing, scenario analysis and their impact on credit losses, capital outcomes and resilience.
• Experience providing oversight, challenge and thought leadership to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing analytical or modelling teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Advanced analytical capability with Python, SQL and Excel.

• Lead the strategic direction and enhancement of Admiral Money's IFRS 9 impairment framework.
• Own impairment forecasting and insight generation for senior stakeholders.
• Lead stress testing and scenario analysis to support planning and regulatory readiness.
• Interpret relationships between portfolio performance, expected losses, capital requirements and resilience.
• Oversee funding and liquidity risk exposures, warehouse structures and covenant monitoring.
• Advise governance forums and executives with clear recommendations.
• Coach and develop a team of analysts and modelling specialists.
• Drive continuous improvement across modelling, forecasting, reporting and automation.
