Job summary

Capgemini in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Identity Infrastructure Engineer to support and harden our IDAM platforms, focusing on Active Directory, PKI, DNS, and authentication services. You will work with the IDAM team to deliver L2/L3 operational support and drive improvements across the identity estate.

Based in Manchester or Inverness with hybrid working, you will design, implement, and maintain AD forests, PKI services, and authentication integrations with Entra ID, Okta, and

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience administering enterprise Active Directory environments.
• Strong knowledge of AD DS, Sites and Services, forests, trusts, DNS, and LDAP.
• Experience with Kerberos, NTLM, and certificate-based authentication.
• PKI expertise including AD CS, certificate templates, CRL/AIA, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AD forests, domains, domain controllers, and DNS.
• Design and manage Group Policy architecture and deployment.
• Support AD backups, DR, and recovery processes; monitor health and replication.
• Administer PKI infrastructure and certificate services; manage CA hierarchies.
