Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an Identity Specialist to join its Cyber Security team in the UK. You will design, implement and maintain secure, scalable identity solutions across the organisation’s digital environment.

You will work with stakeholders to improve identity security, governance and incident response, maintaining Active Directory and Entra ID, and supporting privileged access controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience with directory services including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, Kerberos).
• Practical identity lifecycle management with provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders in a commercial environment.
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
• Proactive learning and keeping up with identity security trends.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500 or SC-300 are advantageous.
• Security clearance or ability to obtain it is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain automated Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes for identity management.
• Manage privileged identity solutions including provisioning and access controls.
• Monitor, investigate and respond to identity-related security incidents.
• Handle workload/service accounts and credential rotation with lifecycle tracking.
• Translate policies into technical controls and maintain governance tools.
• Maintain health of Active Directory and Entra ID; fix stale or misconfigured accounts.
• Produce reports and dashboards on identity performance and risks.
• Represent Identity Management in cross-functional projects and governance work.
• Contribute to the evolution of Computacenter’s identity strategy.
• Participate in 24/7 identity incident response capability.
