Job summary

The AA is seeking an Identity & Access Specialist to join its Group Security team in Basingstoke. You will be a trusted technical expert responsible for IAM design, governance and secure access controls across the enterprise.

This hybrid role requires close collaboration with Architecture, Platform and Risk teams to deliver secure identity solutions, improve controls and reduce risk, while balancing user experience and operational practicality.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on IAM expertise across enterprise IAM and identity governance.
• Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID with Conditional Access, MFA, federation, SSO and privileged access.
• Experience guiding Architecture, Platform and Technology teams on secure implementation of IAM solutions.
• Strong understanding of identity governance, security risk and compliance, including evidence production.
• Confident stakeholder management with clear security communication to senior leaders.
• Analytical problem-solving with IAM or cyber security certifications or equivalent expertise.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted SME across Identity & Access Management, supporting secure identity controls.
• Provide technical guidance on Entra ID, CA, MFA, SSO and governance to teams.
• Partner with Technology, Architecture and Risk to review solutions and support change delivery.
• Contribute to IAM standards, governance docs and audit evidence.
• Support identity risk assessments, investigations and remediation with balanced recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to mature IAM processes and capabilities.
