Job summary

NSG Environmental Ltd is seeking a senior ICT professional to provide technical and operational support across the company's infrastructure, systems and services. You will ensure availability, security and continuous improvement of business-critical platforms and act as the day-to-day contact for Systems Engineers.

Reporting to the ICT Manager, you will assist with planning and maintaining the IT infrastructure and roadmap, support projects, cybersecurity initiatives and service improvements,

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Computer Technology or equivalent
• Membership of appropriate technical / professional body - Desirable
• Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent - Relevant training will be provided if required

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical and operational support across ICT infrastructure, systems and services.
• Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact and escalation resource for Systems Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and coordination of support activities.
• Support the ICT Manager in planning, implementation, maintenance and development of the IT infrastructure, systems and technology roadmap, while assisting with delivery of projects, operational resilience, cybersecurity initiatives and service improvements.
• Assist NSG projects team with deliverables when required and support site projects with IT technical support.
• Manage access controls and security related tasks including personnel identification cards and door access fobs.
• Delivery of proven systems Group and site-wide support including commissioning, support and training.
