Job summary

Thames Valley Police seeks an ICT Senior Business Analyst on a 12-month FTC/Secondment to analyse and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures on complex ICT projects. You will mentor other Business Analysts and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, UAT facilitation, and an industry‑wide understanding of IT architecture, networks, cloud technologies and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Business Process Modelling (As Is/To Be) and requirements elicitation (interviews, workshops).
• Experience in prioritising, managing and validating requirements (User Cases, Acceptance Criteria, data models).
• Strong stakeholder management for UAT and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements through the project lifecycle across complex ICT programmes.
• Lead analysis sessions, model business processes and information flows.
• Advise SMEs, suppliers and senior officers to align delivery across forces.
• Travel to locations across forces and support flexible, lone-working environments.
