Job summary

Neo4j, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer specialized in Identity and Access Management to architect, implement, and manage enterprise IAM strategies for AuraDB. You will collaborate with security, development, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable IAM capabilities.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution and leadership in IAM design, integration with Okta/Auth0/Ping, and enforcing least-privilege access in a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development or software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with IAM systems (Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, Oracle Access Manager, AWS IAM, Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Deep understanding of IAM principles, authentication/authorization protocols, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience with Python or GoLang.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement IAM solutions for AuraDB.
• Contribute to IAM roadmap and design scalable authentication and authorization architectures.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, and product teams using Agile methods.
• Mentor teammates on IAM technologies and best practices.
