Job summary

Talent is seeking a Technical Architect (Contract) in Preston to perform a targeted architectural analysis of identity and access controls, enabling non-UI workflows and AI agents. You will evaluate roles and permissions, map them into domain models, and deliver actionable recommendations for a scalable authorisation framework.

The role requires deep IAM expertise, experience with domain-driven design, and knowledge of headless architectures, microservices, and APIs.

Qualifications

• Deep IAM security architecture knowledge.
• Experience decomposing permissions into domain models.
• Experience with headless systems, microservices, APIs, and AI agents.
• Ability to produce ADRs and executive blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted analysis of identity and access controls across systems.
• Decompose roles and permissions into domain models to guide enforcement boundaries.
• Define where authorization checks should occur across system boundaries.
• Deliver a blueprint for a cross-cutting authorisation architecture supporting AI agents.
