Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Identity and Access Management Team. The role focuses on overseeing user accounts, provisioning and administration across clinical and non-clinical systems, while ensuring audit, information governance and cyber security compliance.

The post also involves guiding a small team and supporting process improvements including RPA initiatives. The position is permanent, based at Westward House, Paisley, with a 36-hour week from

Qualifications

• Experience in IT administration or service support in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and access provisioning.
• Understanding of audit requirements, information governance and cyber security controls.
• Experience of application administration and user account management.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise demands.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail with sensitive information.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience of NHS systems would be advantageous.
• Awareness of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and process improvement would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee user account creation, amendment and access provisioning across applications.
• Ensure IAM requests are processed accurately, securely and timely.
• Provide guidance and supervision for administrators within the team.
• Act as escalation point for complex access and provisioning issues.
• Contribute to service continuity, digital projects and transformation programmes.
• Maintain procedures, documentation and service standards for consistency.
