Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies in the UK is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to support the design and delivery of major energy, power generation and grid infrastructure projects.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging assignments, providing specialist engineering expertise while developing innovative solutions for clients across the UK and potentially internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Approximately 5 years of Instrumentation & Control engineering experience.
Experience delivering engineering design work on energy, industrial, utilities or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of instrumentation, control systems and engineering principles.
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver Instrumentation & Control engineering activities across multiple projects.
Develop designs, specifications and technical deliverables from concept through detailed design.
Prepare and review control philosophies, instrumentation specs and control system drawings.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and designers.
Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
Support commissioning, testing and start-up activities where required.
