Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Gynaecology Hysteroscopy Nurse to join our specialist team. The post focuses on autonomous outpatient hysteroscopy clinics and PMB/OPH service delivery, working with the unit manager and MDT to ensure high standards of care.

You will lead clinical assessments, plan investigations, and provide expert guidance to patients and families while supporting workforce planning and ongoing audits to improve service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• First Degree in Nursing Studies.
• PG Certificate in Diagnostic Hysteroscopy and Therapeutic Management.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and clinical care for women requiring outpatient hysteroscopy.
• Be involved in managing PMB and OPH clinics and lead audits.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to review protocols and guidelines.
• Support the unit manager with day-to-day operations and workforce planning.
• Act as a professional role model and mentor to staff.
