Zusammenfassung

Haskoning in the UK seeks a Senior/Principal Hydrologist to join the flood risk and hydraulic modelling team. You will deliver hydrological analyses supporting hydraulic models for major infrastructure and renewables projects, including water resources and river restoration.

Required is a minimum of 10 years in hydrological studies, strong GIS skills, and experience with FEH, ReFH2, WINFAP and related tools. Flexible working and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical subject.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in hydrological studies and catchment analysis.
• Thorough understanding of wider catchment hydrology and processes.
• Hydrological modelling to derive design event peak flows and hydrographs using FEH methods including ReFH2/FSR; Lowland/Pumped Catchments.
• Knowledge of Low flow studies and LowFlows2 modelling software.
• Proven GIS experience in QGIS and ArcGIS.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to write concise reports.

Aufgaben

• Lead hydrological analysis for hydraulic modelling projects.
• Deliver flood risk assessments with UK policies in mind across England, Wales, Scotland.
• Collaborate with the team and clients to develop robust, auditable strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and support project management, invoicing and subcontractors.
