Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a Senior/Principal Hydrologist to join our Environment Resilience Renewables Group in the UK. You will deliver hydrological analyses to support hydraulic modelling across urban and rural settings, with emphasis on flood risk, nature-based solutions and river restoration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or Physical Geography
• 10+ years in hydrological studies and catchment analysis
• Experience with FEH methodologies and design event peak flows
• Proficient in hydrometric data analysis and reporting
• GIS experience in QGIS/ArcGIS
• Ability to write concise technical reports and manage projects

Responsibilities

• Deliver hydrological analysis to support hydraulic modelling
• Develop flood risk assessments and nature-based solutions
• Lead smaller projects; manage resources and contracts
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality
• Collaborate with clients and regulators
• Apply best-practice QA and innovative approaches
