Qualifications
- Experience estimating flood flows with FEH/REFH2.
- Strong statistical hydrology knowledge.
- Collaborating with hydraulic modellers to calibrate models.
- Qualified or working towards Chartered ICE/CIWEM.
Responsibilities
- Produce flood hydrological assessments for flood alleviation schemes, risk assessments, or Environment Agency flood maps.
- Apply FEH guidance to derive flood flows for England catchments.
- Produce high quality technical reports.
- Use GIS tools (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) to support work.
- Technically review hydrological assessments within AECOM.
- Build relationships with clients and other disciplines.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in methodologies.
- Be an active member of the national hydrologists community.
