Job summary

Stantec in Gloucestershire is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our UK water team with the flexibility to be based at multiple offices, including Reading, High Wycombe, Shrewsbury, Birmingham, Glasgow, or Edinburgh. You will work across a varied portfolio of hydrogeological and environmental projects, serving clients across the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• MSc in Hydrogeology or equivalent.
• PhD in Hydrogeology or substantial post-graduate practice.
• Experience delivering hydrogeology projects across regulatory and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver hydrogeological work across a range of project types.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop the next generation of hydrogeologists and mentor junior colleagues.
• Field-based monitoring, drilling supervision, pumping test design and analysis; data analytics and groundwater modelling.
