An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic & experienced Hydrogeologist to join my client, based in Shrewsbury. The successful Hydrogeologist will have prior commercial experience – ideally within a consultancy – and a sound knowledge of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements.

As the successful candidate, you will be required to undergo ad hoc UK travel – which will be compensated. Therefore, a full clean driving licence is essential.

What’s required

To succeed in this role, the Hydrogeologist should have:

• A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, along with proven commercial experience in a similar Hydrogeology role, preferably within a consultancy environment
• A solid understanding of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements, with experience in analytical methods for quantifying groundwater flow
• Experience using GIS software and groundwater modelling packages is highly advantageous
