Aztrum in Bristol is hiring a Senior Hydraulic Modeller with Flood Modeller and Tuflow experience. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to work on diverse flood risk projects with a supportive team.

• Complex hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Flood risk assessments and related analyses.
• Hydrological assessments.
• Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.
• Flood risk mapping and estimation.
• Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling.
• Liaise with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop opportunities and deliver projects on time and budget.

Are you a Senior Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a supportive team based in Bristol?

Alternative locations available in London.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It's also beneficial for applicants to reside in the UK and have a keen interest in climate change, flood risk modelling and drainage engineering.

Responsibilities

• Complex hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, nutrient neutrality assessments.
• Hydrological assessments.
• Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.
• Flood risk mapping and estimation.
• Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
