Job summary

Stantec is recruiting a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to lead hydraulic studies for water infrastructure across the UK. You will oversee studies from feasibility to construction support and mentor junior engineers.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop resilient hydraulic solutions and contribute to our growing Hydraulic Engineering capability with industry-leading practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering hydraulic projects in the UK water sector or regulated infra.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and transient analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of hydraulic studies across water and wastewater projects.
• Develop and review hydraulic models and technical reports using HADES/VARISM/Flow-3D.
• Provide guidance on pumping systems, hydraulic structures and conveyance assets.
