Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer – IREF to drive large-scale chiller and heat pump project sales. You will develop long-term partnerships with FMs and end users, manage complex bids, and coordinate design teams to deliver turnkey installation, retrofit and service contracts.

You will identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and close deals using SPIN techniques while upholding company standards and ensuring customer satisfaction in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IREF industry with chillers, heat pumps and HVAC.
• Experience selling service maintenance contracts.
• Track record with End Users, FMs and contractors.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to influence internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Sell large scale projects to FM contractors and end users, building long-term relationships.
• Manage large, complex bids with cross-functional teams to ensure quality submissions.
• Lead solutioning with design teams and present client benefits.
• Develop growth initiatives and grow new business via SPIN selling techniques.
• Create competitive, high-quality bids, proposals and cost/benefit analyses.
• Negotiate value and impact to close sales while maintaining Johnson Controls standards.
