Murphy is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to work with Energy on the Electricity Transmission Project for Aberthaw Substation, initially based out of our Cardiff office. Our business is known for extensive in-house expertise, innovation, and a broad EPC service portfolio across multiple countries.

The role involves delivering HV transmission projects, leading project teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring programme and cost controls are met, with opportunities for professional

Formación

• Experience delivering HV Transmission & Distribution or Major Civils projects.
• Experience in a Senior Project Manager role.
• HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree).
• Experience on complex multi-discipline enhancement projects with programme and cost controls.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver projects safely, on time and to budget per contract.
• Set overall project standards and ensure requirements are delivered.
• Identify and resolve issues in a controlled, timely manner.
• Plan, review and deliver contract programmes.
• Line manage Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and Section Managers.
• Maintain effective client relationships and update stakeholders on progress.
• Ensure resources and materials are available to meet plans.
• Oversee commercial activities including gross margin and cost controls.
• Manage subcontractor performance and related costs.
