Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking an HV System Design Engineer to join the Engineering Design Team in Eastleigh or Wrexham. You will lead HV system design activities for tenders and contracts supporting the UK market.

The role demands experience in HV systems, strong communication, and a methodical approach to ensure compliant, cost-effective solutions. Hybrid/onsite work options may apply depending on site allocations.

Qualifications

• Experience with HV systems design, especially in large-scale projects.
• Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical details and cost-effective cable system design proposals for customer enquiries.
• Support other Prysmian design teams for UK tendering and contract execution.
• Maintain records of contracts for future reference.
• Provide technical support and training to internal functions and customers.
• Drive product approvals for UK customers.
