A global cable company is seeking a HV System Design Engineer to join its Engineering Design Team in Eastleigh or Wrexham. The role involves developing technical cable system design proposals and supporting HV business activities. Qualifications

• Previous experience in HV systems design and large scale projects is desirable.
• Educated up to degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably hold experience of Mathcad, however training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost-effective cable system design proposals for customer enquiries.
• Liaise with other Prysmian Design teams as necessary.
• Ensure maintenance of records of contracts for future reference.
• Provide technical support and training to internal functions and Customers.
• Drive product approvals for UK Customers.
