Job summary

Aureos, a growing £10m High Voltage business, seeks an HV Operations Manager to lead the safe, efficient delivery across HV projects in the UK. You will manage project managers, engineers and subcontractors, ensuring programme, budget, quality and client requirements are met.

You will apply strong leadership, deep HV technical knowledge and commercial awareness to deliver projects from planning through to handover, while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Senior HV operations or project delivery leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of HV substation, distribution, cabling and commissioning.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational delivery across HV projects, ensuring safe and effective execution.
• Accountability for safety, quality, programme, cost and client satisfaction.
• Manage and develop project managers, site managers, engineers and supervisors.
• Oversee HV substation, distribution, cabling, protection and commissioning works.
• Ensure CDM compliance, RAMS and switching arrangements.
• Lead planning, labour forecasting, outage coordination and subcontractor mobilisation.
• Monitor portfolio performance with reviews, KPIs and corrective actions.
• Support bids, mobilisation plans and client presentations.
• Collaborate with commercial, design, planning, procurement and SHEQ teams.
