Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Aberdeen is seeking an HV Contracts Manager to oversee project delivery, bolster client relationships, and maintain high safety and quality standards. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing engineering businesses and a strong knowledge of HV operations. The ideal candidate will also possess a higher qualification in Electrical Engineering and relevant H&S certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing an engineering business.
• Strong knowledge of HV operations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV operations and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
• Define project scope, allocate resources, and implement controls.
• Identify and develop HV business opportunities, prepare quotations, and deliver tenders.
• Set goals, coach staff, and support the Operations Manager

Job description

The HV Contracts Manager will lead and grow the HV business in Aberdeen, managing project delivery, client relationships, and ensuring a continuous pipeline of work while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HV operations and ensure compliance with safety and company standards
• Define project scope, allocate resources, and implement controls
• Identify and develop HV business opportunities, prepare quotations, and deliver tenders
• Set goals, coach staff, and support the Operations Manager
• Strong HV engineering knowledge and commercial acumen
