Job summary

Turner Lovell seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead HV infrastructure projects across the UK, delivering from 11kV to 132kV and beyond. You will drive design approvals, coordinate multiple teams and manage client/stakeholder interfaces to keep programmes on track.

This delivery-focused role requires a proactive leader who can own projects, resolve complex technical issues and ensure safe, compliant execution through construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

• This role requires proven experience delivering HV electrical infrastructure projects (11kV–132kV+).
• Strong understanding of DNO/IDNO design approval processes and interfaces.
• Experience coordinating design, procurement and live project delivery.
• Background in utilities, power or major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the interface between design and delivery from initiation to construction.
• Coordinate design activities with internal teams, consultants, DNOs/IDNOs and client engineers.
• Monitor design progress, RFIs and approval stages to maintain programme.
• Identify risks early and coordinate mitigation to prevent delays.
• Act as key contact for DNOs, IDNOs and client technical teams.
• Build relationships across engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Support client meetings, technical discussions and project coordination.
• Coordinate design, procurement and delivery to ensure construction readiness.
• Identify programme, cost and procurement risks; support planning.
• Ensure activities comply with standards, legislation and procedures.
• Promote health and safety across project activities.
• Support progression from concept through commissioning.
