AECOM is seeking a Principal Cable System Design Engineer to lead the delivery and technical excellence of HV/EHV cable projects within the Transmission & Distribution team. You will guide routing, modelling, and system integration across high-profile schemes for UK and international clients.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a track record in complex cable systems design, with a focus on innovation and digital delivery in a regulated environment.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience as a technical leader in HV/EHV cable system design.
• Proven track record in design, specification, and installation of complex cable systems.
• In-depth understanding of National Grid TPs, IEC, and CIGRÉ guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead delivery of large HV/EHV cable projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and oversee HV cable system designs including routing, burial risk, thermal, EMC, and mechanical modelling.
• Provide input on installation methods, jointing, cleating, and system integration.
