Job Title: Senior Human Resources Manager
Salary: £95,491 - £119,363per annum dependent upon experience
Location: Peterborough, UK

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager for our Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) team in Peterborough, UK. This Senior Human Resources Manager role supports two key businesses – Medium Engines and Sales, Marketing, Service & Parts – totaling approximately 4,000 global employees in roles from operations to sales to product development. The position leads approximately 30 HR professionals in the UK, China, Brazil and US. We’re looking for a strong HR leader who can partner with senior business and HR leaders to drive our business strategy a n d enhance our culture and employee experience.
What You Will Do
Serve as a strategic advisor, c ollaborating with senior management to identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organi s ation's g oals and objectives .
Align HR policies and programs which promote a positive employee experience , retention and performance.
Act as a trusted coach , providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation and benefits, etc.
Analyz e HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and provide data - driven recommendations to senior management.
Lead a team of HR leaders to collaborate effectively with other centers of excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
Develop and implement change management methods and materials to facilitate deployment of HR program me s and processes within a specific organi s ation .
What You Have
Business Acumen: Extensive knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Influencing: Extensive knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organisation .
Leadership: Proven a bility to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
Talent Management: Expert level knowledge of how an organisation attracts, recruits, retains , identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organisation to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
HR Consulting: Extensive knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field or equivalent experience
