Job summary

Halesowen College is seeking an HR professional to act as a trusted HR point of contact, advising managers and staff on absence management, employee relations, recruitment, wellbeing and policy implementation across the College.

The postholder will manage complex absence casework, support improvements in recruitment and HR practices, provide workforce data and reporting, and help deliver a compliant HR service aligned with the College's objectives.

Job description

Acting as a trusted HR point of contact, the postholder will provide expert advice and support to managers and staff across all areas of HR, including absence management, employee relations, recruitment, wellbeing, and policy implementation. The role will manage complex absence casework, support organisational improvements in recruitment and HR practices, provide workforce data and reporting, and contribute to the delivery of an effective and compliant HR service that supports the College's objectives.

The College is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and will undertake Enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks for all successful candidates.
