Job summary

Holcim UK is seeking a Senior HSE Business Partner to lead health, safety and environmental strategy in collaboration with executive leadership. This 12-month fixed-term role focuses on driving continuous improvement, safety culture, and operational excellence across divisions.

You will partner with SLT and executives to design roadmaps, provide expert guidance on safety management systems, and coach divisional teams to meet ambitious HSE goals while engaging external regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• Your Qualifications & Expertise: recognised professional safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent) and IOSH status or working towards it.
• You have extensive knowledge of health, safety and environmental management systems, current legislation and best practices.
• You bring experience in an HSE leadership function, with ability to advise and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with divisional SLT and Executive Committee to design long-term HSE roadmaps.
• Provide trusted specialist advice and leadership on safety management systems.
• Guide divisional HSE teams to meet organisational goals with coaching and development.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners including regulators and clients to establish best practice.
• Lead high-potential incident reviews to strengthen resilience and insights.
• Support audits, site visits and development of modern safety procedures.
