Job summary

Scantec is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental performance across nuclear decommissioning and industrial projects in the North West. The role requires driving governance, compliance and continuous improvement in highly regulated environments, with UK travel between sites.

You will provide expert HSE leadership to project teams, oversee audits and incident investigations, and ensure robust HSE systems and culture across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience leading HSE in complex operations.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK HSE law.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE performance across a portfolio of nuclear decommissioning and industrial projects.
• Provide visible HSE leadership to operational teams and projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in HSE standards and culture.
• Maintain and govern HSE management systems and governance arrangements.
• Lead audits, inspections and improvement programmes.
• Support mobilisation of new projects with appropriate HSE arrangements.
