Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join our Southwest project team. The role oversees site safety across diverse sectors on high-value schemes, driving compliance, best practice and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will lead on HSE requirements, engage with planning and delivery teams on high-risk activities, and promote a proactive safety culture with ISO standards at the core. Competitive salary and comprehensive package offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role on high-value schemes would be advantageous, with potential progression from HSE Advisor.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legal standards and client expectations.
• Support planning and delivery teams with high-risk activities.
• Carry out safety inspections and audits.
• Advise on incidents, accidents or near misses.
• Promote HSE awareness and behavioural improvement.
