Navantia UK Appledore is seeking an experienced HSE Leader to direct health, safety and environmental strategy across all programmes. You will champion UK regulations, drive continuous improvement, and mentor the HSE team to secure safe operations for employees and visitors.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, strong knowledge of ISO 45001/14001, and experience in heavy engineering or defence. A proactive, collaborative manager will develop audit programs and liaise with regulatory

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or similar
• Experience with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards
• Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations
• Proven experience leading an HSE team in heavy engineering/defence

Responsabilités

• Provide broad HSE direction and SME to Navantia UK Appledore programmes
• Develop and maintain HSE procedures compliant with UK legislation
• Liaise with regulatory bodies HSE, EA, Fire, LA
• Manage HSE budget and regular reporting to identify improvements
