Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Senior HSE role to lead health, safety and environmental strategies for the Fareham Seaeye robotics unit. You will develop policies, manage audits and drive continuous improvement in safety performance across manufacturing operations.

The role reports to the Head of Quality Health, Safety & Environmental and requires strong leadership, risk assessment and stakeholder engagement across site operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Internal audits and external accreditation audits.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
• Ability to drive cultural change and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve HSE management systems and policies.
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, regulations, and standards.
• Lead HSE audits, inspections and compliance activities.
• Provide expert HSE advice to managers and project teams.
• Drive risk assessments and safe systems of work.
