Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group, a major UK food manufacturer, seeks a Senior Health Safety and Environmental Advisor for its Rogerstone, Newport site. You will be the visible HSE lead on site, supporting operations, driving a positive safety culture and advising on risk controls.

Reporting to the Head of Safety, you will conduct inspections, lead investigations, and influence safe working practices across the site while delivering IOSH Managing Safely training and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate is essential.
• Experience of health & safety in an operational environment.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Able to work independently and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Health & Safety representative on site, providing practical support across departments.
• Attend daily operations meetings and communicate key safety priorities.
• Conduct daily site inspections and walkarounds to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Lead and support accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes.
• Carry out Health & Safety audits and ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
• Deliver IOSH Managing Safely training across the site.
